A RESOLUTION ALLOCATING AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $10,000 FROM SPECIAL PROGRAMS AND ACCOUNTS, CONTINGENT FUND, TO SEND DISADVANTAGED YOUTH TO SUMMER CAMP IN LAKE PLACID, FLORIDA, JUNE 22 - AUGUST 23, 1986; SAID ALLOCATION BEING CONDITIONED UPON SUBSTANTIAL COMPLIANCE WITH CITY OF MIAMI ADMINISTRATIVE POLICY NO. APM-1-84, DATED JANUARY 24, 1985. WHEREAS, the Overtown Crime Prevention Sub -Council has requested funds to cover the cost of sending disadvantaged youth to summer camp in Lake Placid, Florida June 22 - August 23, 1986; and WHEREAS, the City of Miami is desirous of supporting the growth and development of our youth in worthwhile programs; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. An amount not to exceed $10,000 is hereby allocated from Special Programs and Accounts, Contingent Fund, in support of sending disadvantaged youth to summer camp June 22 - August 23, 1986, in Lake Placid, Florida. Section 2. The herein allocation is hereby conditioned upon substantial compliance with City of Miami Administrative Policy No. RPM-1-84, dated January 24, 1984. Our candidates for summer camp are underpriviledged children who excel in school and community activities.
