HomeMy WebLinkAboutO-10110J-86-378 0 Amendment No. 4 to Ordinance No.10039 ORDI NANCE NO 0 j. `0 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SFCT10N 1 (IF ORDINANCE NO. 10039 ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 17, 1985, THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1986, BY MAKING THE NECESSARY CHANGES IN THE APPROPRIATION OF THE FIRE RESCUE AND INSPECTION SERVICES DEPARTMENT FOR FY'96 TO REFLECT THE TRANSFER OF THE BUILDING AND ZONING FUNCTION TO THE NEWLY ESTABLISHED BUILDING AND 7.ONING DEPARTMENT AS OUTLINED IN ORDINANCE NO. 10089 APPROVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION ON MARCH 27, 1985; DECREASING THE APPROPRIATION FOR riir FIRE RESCUE AND INSPECTIONS SERVICE DEPARTMENT, INCREASING THE APPROPRIATION FOR THE BUILDING AND ZONING DEPARTMENT, DECREASING THE APPROPRIATION FOR SPECIAL PROGRAMS AND ACCOUNTS; CONTAINING A REPEALER PROVISION AND A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE Whereas, the City Commission on March 27, 1Q85 transferred the Bui l di ng and Zoning functions trom the �i re, r.1-scue ana Inspections Services Department to the newly established Building and Zoning Department pursuant to Ordinance No. 10089; and - Whereas, said action necessitates certain changes to the annual appropriation ordinance as follows: Decreasing the appropriation for the Fire Rescue and Inspection Services Department in the amount of $2,943,733, increasing the appropriation for the RuiIding and coning ueparzmenT, in tine amount of $3,023,733, decreasing Special Programs and Accounts a net amount of $80,000 which balances the increases and decreases approved by the City Commission to the FY'86 General Fund Appropriation; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: 1Words and/or figures stricken through shall be deleted. Underscored words and/or figures shall be added. The remaining provisions are now in effect and remain unchanged. Section 1.. The purpose of the herein ordinance is to reflect in the Fiscal Year 1985-86 General operating appropriation ordinance adopted by the City Commission on September 17, 1985, the changes approved by the City Commission at its March 27, 1986 meeting re-establishing the Building and Zoning Department. Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances insofar as they are inconsistent or in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 4. If any section, part of section, paragraph, clause, phrase, or word of this Ordinance is declared invalid, the remaining provisions of this ordinance shall not be affected. O d i o `� REFERENCES: City Manager v ENCLOSURES: IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT THE HEREIN ORDINANCE BE ADOPTED TO REFLECT THE CHANGES IN APPROPRIATION FOR THE FIRE RESCUE AND INSPECTION SERVICES DEPARTMENT AND THE BUILDING AND ZONING DEPARTMENT PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE NO. 10,089 ADOPTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION AT ITS MARCH 27, 1986 MEETING. - The City Commission at its March 27, 1986 meeting adopted Ordinance No. 10089 recommended by the City Manager transferring the Building and Zoning function from the Fire, Rescue and Inspection Services Department to the newly established Building and Zoning Department. The attached Ordinance amends the appropriate sections of the annual appropriations ordinance, adopted September 17, 1986 by incorporating said changes approved by the City Commission pursuant to ordinance no. 10089.
