I A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE PLAT ENTITLED MIAMI ARENA, A SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF MIAMI: AND ACCEPTING THE DEDICATIONS SHOWN ON SAID PLAT: AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE THE PLAT AND PROVIDING FOR THE RECORDATION OF SAID PLAT IN THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA. WHEREAS, the City Department of Public Works recommends the acceptance of the plat: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The plat entitled Miami Arena is a replat of all of Block 44 N., a portion of Block 57 N,'A. L. Knowlton Map of Miami", as recorded in Plat Book "B", Page 41, of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida and a portion of N.W. 7 Street lying between Blocks 44 N & 57 N in Section 37 lying in Township 53 S., Range 41 E. and Township 54 S., Range 41 E., City of Miami, Dade County, Florida, which subject plat by reference is made a part hereof as if fully incorporated herein and which plat, together with the dedications shown thereon, and the dedications to the perpetual use of the public of all existing and future planting, trees and shrubbery on said property, is hereby accepted and confirmed by the City of Miami, Florida. Section 2. The City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute the plat and cause the same to be recorded in the Public Records of. Dade County, Florida. The proposed record plat entitled Miami Arena Subdivision is a replat of all of Block 44 N, a portion of Block'57 N, "A.L. Knowlton Map of Miami", as recorded in Plat Book "B", Page 41, of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida and a portion of N.W. 7 Street lying between Blocks 44 N & 57 N in Section 37, lying in Township 53 S, Range 41 E and Township 54 S, Range 41 E., City of Miami, Dade County, Florida. The area platted con- sists of 3 tracts containing 4.9+ acres. It is zoned CG-2/7. This plat is being forwarded for City Commission action. It is in correct form for submission to the City Commission and is forwarded with a recommendation that it be approved. Graham, Registered Land Surveyor, this Plat complies with the plat filing laws of the State of Florida. (4) The City Zoning Board of Miami, Florida, after Public Nearing, has recommended the closing of N.W. 7th Street Eastward of the East right-of-way line of N.W. Ist Avenue for a distance of + 534.91'. This action was confirmed by City Commission Resolution No. 86- W -522. 21 (5) The Certificate of Title Examination dated May 23, 1986 signed by Eugene Shy Jr. Esq., Attorney, indicates that the fee simple title to the property platted is correctly vested in The City of Miami and the Florida East Coast Railway Company and the Plat has been correctly executed. (6) The area platted is not encumbered by mortgages`. (7) Since all the required subdivision improvements on this property are to be constructed by City of Miami Highway Job# B-4512 S.E. Overtown/Park West Paving this Plat will be forwarded to the City Commission of Miami, Florida, without the usual formality of providing Bond and Contract.
