AUGUSTIN SUBDIVISION, A SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF MIAMI: AND ACCEPTING THE DEDICATIONS SHOWN ON SAID PLAT: AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE THE PLAT AND PROVIDING FOR THE RECORDATION OF SAID PLAT IN THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA WHEREAS, the City Department of Public Works recommends the acceptance of the plat: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The plat entitled ST. AUGUSTIN is a resubdivision of portion of Block 2, Braddock Subdivision No. 4, Plat Book 3 at Page 61 and Tract A, Venago Subdivision, Plat Book 117 at Page 20, both recorded in the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, and the right-of-way of N.W. 19th Street lying between the aforesaid plats, Section 35, Township 53 South, Range 41 East City of Miami, Dade County, Florida, which subject plat by reference is made a part hereof as if fully incorporated herein and which plat, together with the dedications shown thereon, and the dedications to the perpetual use of the public of all existing and future planting, trees and shrubbery on said property, is hereby accepted and confirmed by the City of Miami, Florida. Section 2. The City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute the plat and cause the same to be recorded in the Public Records of Dade County, Florida. Odio City Manager 10 19 DATE: J U L 1 1988 FILE: SUBJECT: St. Augustin Subdivision Resolution Accepting Proposed Record Plat Located At REFERENCES: N.W. 15 Ave. and N.W. 19 S t . ENCLOSURES: `For Commission Meeting of July 10, 1986) It is recommended that a resolution j be adopted accepting the plat St. 1 Augustin by the City Commission of Miami, Florida. The proposed record plat entitled St. Augustin Subdivision is a resubdivision of portion of Block 2, Braddock Subdivision No. 4, �? Plat Book 3 at Page 61 and Tract A, Venago Subdivision, Plat Book 117 at Page 20, both recorded in the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, and the right of way of N.W. 19th Street lying between the aforesaid plats, Section 35, Township 53 South, Range 41 East City of Miami, Dade County, Florida. The area platted consists of two tracts containing 3.44+ acres. It is zoned RG-3/6. This plat is being forwarded for City Commission action. Also attached are the following itemized papers necessary to present the Plat to the City Commission: (1) Resolution accepting the Plat (2) Engineering Report (3) Print of proposed Record Plat Cam;, DWC : RB : i s cc: Albert Ruder 86-541',.: THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS June 16, 1986 REPORT OF PROPOSED RECORD PLAT OF ST. AUGUSTIN SUBDIVISION LOCATED AT N.W. 15 AVENUE 6 N.W. 19 STREET A SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * The accompanying Plat entitled St. Augustin Subdivision was prepared by Biscayne Engineering Co. It is in correct form for submission to the City Commission and is forwarded with a recommendation that it be approved. PERTINENT INFORMATION REGARDING THE PLAT: (1) The property platted is a resubdivision of portion of Block 2, Braddock Subdivision No. 4, Plat Book 3 at Page 61 and Tract A, Venago Subdivision, Plat Book 117 at Page 20, both recorded in the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, and the right-of-way of N.W. 19th Street lying between the aforesaid plats, Section 35, Township 53 South, Range 41 East City of Miami, Dade County, Florida. The area platted consists of two tracts containing 3.44 + acres. It is Zoned RG-3/6. 2) The location of the streets and the widths conform with the standards of the Department of Public Works of the City of Miami, Florida. (3) As certified to by George C. Bolton, Registered Land Surveyor, this Plat complies with the plat filing laws of the State of Florida. (4) The City Zoning Board of Miami, Florida, after Public Hearing, has recommended the closing of that portion of N.W. 19th Street lying east of the east right-of-way line of N.W. 15th Avenue and west of the right-of-way line of N.W. 18 Street Road (a/k/a WAGNER BOULEVARD). This action was confirmed by City Commission Resolution No. 85-807. 86-541 i (5) The attached Certificates of Title Examination dated May 21, 1986 signed by James P. Kyne, Attorney, indicates that the fee simple title to the property platted is correctly vested in Jorge M. Perez, as Trustee and individually and Stephen M. Ross, as Trustee and individually and Civic Tower Associates, Ltd. and the Plat has been correctly executed. (6) The area platted is encumbered by a mortgage and the mortgage holder has executed the Plat and joined in its dedications. (7) In accordance with the requirements of Chapter 54, of The Code of The City of Miami, Florida a Performance Bond in the amount of $126,000 has been executed by BEC Construction Corp., principal, and American Home Assurance Company, Surety. This Bond and the Surety's Power of Attorney will accompany the Agreement between the City of Miami, Florida and the Principal to guarantee the construction of landscaping, asphaltic concrete pavement, sidewalk, curb and gutter, storm drainage structures, permanent type bulkhead and barricade and the removal of existing sidewalk and curb and gutter at the property platted.
