AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO, 9g399
ADOPT
ED DECEMBER 205 1984, AS AMENDED, THE
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT APPROPRIATIONS ORDINANCE, BY
ESTABLISHING A NEW CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
ENTITLED: "COCONUT GROVE EXHIBITION CENTER y
TELESCOPIC SEATING", APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR
THIS PROJECT IN THE AMOUNT OF $170,000 FROM
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND- FUND EQUITY;
CONTAINING A REPEALER PROVISION AND A
SEVERABILITY CLAUSE,
WHEREAS, the City Commission adopted Resolution No. 86-266 on April 10,
1986, authorizing the City Manager to advertise for, receive and award bids
for the purchase of portable telescopic bleacher seating for installation in
the Coconut Grove Exhibition Center at a cost not to exceed $170,000 with
funding to be allocated from the Capital Improvement Fund for said purchase;
and
WHEREAS, the Coconut Grove Exhibition Center lacks tiered seating which
is essential for spectator -type events such as concerts, boxing and wrestling;
and
WHEREAS, portable telescopic bleacher seating for 2,500 to 3,000
spectators can be purchased for approximately $170,000;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 9939, adopted December 20, 1984,
is hereby amended in the following particulars: 1/

Underscored words and/or figures shall be added.
The remaining provisions are now in effect and remain unchanged,
Asterisks indicate omitted and unchanged material. All figures are
rounded to the nearest hundred dollars,
