AMOUNT OF $3060,000 AND APPROPRIATING AN
AMOUNT OF $510,000 FROM PROCEEDS FROM
DADE COUNTY SEAPORT LAND- EXCHANGE
.SETTLEMENT, AN AMOUNT OF $2,950,000 FROM
PROCEEDS FROM THE NEW PORT -BRIDGE LAND -
SALE, AND AN AMOUNT OF $510,000 FROM
PROCEEDS FROM DADE COUNTY SEAPORT LAND
EXCHANGE SETTLEMENT, AN AMOUNT $2,950,000
FROM PROCEEDS FROM THE NEW PORT BRIDGE _
SALE, AND AN AMOUNT OF $500,000 FROM
INTEREST EARNINGS ON THE 1986 GENERAL
OBLIGATION BOND SALE FOR A TOTAL
APPROPRIATION TO SAID PROJECT OF
$3,960,000; BY ESTABLISHING BAYFRONT PARK
DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT -PHASE II AS A
CAPITAL PROJECT IN THE AMOUNT OF
$3,674,000 AND APPROPRIATING AN AMOUNT OF
$224,000 FROM PROCEEDS FROM DADE COUNTY
SEAPORT LAND EXCHANGE SETTLEMENT, AN
AMOUNT OF $2,950,000 FROM PROCEEDS FROM
THE NEW PORT BRIDGE LAND SALE, AND AN
AMOUNT OF $500,000 FROM INTEREST EARNINGS
ON THE 1986 GENERAL OBLIGATION BOND SALE
FOR A TOTAL APPROPRIATION TO SAID PROJECT
OF $3,04,000; BY INCREASING
APPROPRIATIONS FOR BAYFRONT PARK
REDEVELOPMENT DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT -
PHASE I IN THE AMOUNT OF $183,000 FROM
PROCEEDS FROM DADE COUNTY SEAPORT LAND
EXCHANGE SETTLEMENT FOR A TOTAL
APPROPRIATION TO SAID PROJECT OF
$1,088,000; BY INCREASING APPROPRIATIONS
FOR BAYFRONT PARK REDEVELOPMENT
AMPHITHEATER IN THE AMOUNT OF $1031000
FROM PROCEEDS FROM DADE COUNTY SEAPORT
LAND EXCHANGE SETTLEMENT FOR A TOTAL
APPROPRIATION TO SAID PROJECT OF
$6,116,000; CONTAINING A REPEALER
PROVISION AND A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE
WHEREAS, the -City -Commission adopted Ordinance No. 9939 I
on December 20, 1984, establishing resources and appropriations
for implementation of Capital Improvements in the City of Miami;

and
WHEREAS,the City Commission adopted Resolution No. 86-
619 on July 24, 1986, identifying and designating sources of
funding for capital improvements to City parks that included
revenue bonds, proceeds from the Dade County Seaport Land
Exchange Settlement, proceeds from the New Port Bridge Land Sale,
and interest earnings on the City's 1986 ($22 million) General
Obligation Bend Sale; and

WHEREAS, -Resolution No 86-619 further directed the City
Manager to immediately, appropriate the 'funds identified and
designated therein, in equalamounts, to renovate neighborhood
parks and to the redevelopment of Bayfront Park,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 9939, adopted
December 20, 1984, is hereby amended in the following
particulars: 1/

Ordinance
It is recommender that the City Commission
adopt the attached Ordinance establishing
Citywide Neighborhood Park_ Renovations as
a capital project and appropriating a._tota_1
of $3,96,O,OOO to said project from Proceeds
from the Dade County Seaport Land Exchange
Settlement--$510,0000 from Proceeds from the
New Port Bridge Land Sale--$20950,000, and
from the Interest Earnings on the City's
1986 General obligation Bond Sale- 4-$500,000;
establishing Bayfront Park Redevelopment
Design and Development-P ase II as a capital
project and appropriating a total of $3,674,000
to said project from Proceeds from the Dade
County Seaport Land Exchange Settlement
$224,000, from Proceeds from the New Port
Bridge Land Sale--$2,950,000, and from the
Interest Earnings on the City'.s 1986 General
Obligation Bond Sale--•-$500,000; increasing
appropriations for Bayfront Park Redevelop-
ment-Phase I by_ $183,000 from Proceeds from
the Dade County Seaport, Land Exchange Settle—
ment; and increasing appropriations for Bay -
front Park Amphitheater by $103, 00 from
Proceeds from the Dade County Seaport Land
Exchange Settlement.
The City, Commission adopted Resolution No. 86-619 on July, 24,
_ 1986, identifying and designating sources of funding for capital
improvements to City parks that included revenue bonds, Proceeds
from the Dade County Seaport Land Exchange Settlement, Proceeds
from the New Port Bridge Land Sale, and Interest Earnings on the
City Is 1986 $22 million General Obligation Bond Fund Sale .
Resolution No, 86-619 further directed the City Manager to imme-
diately appropriate' the funds identified, in equal amounts, to
renovate neighborhood parks and to the redevelopment of Bayfront
Park.
