Odio City Manager RECOMMENDATION: DATE: DEC , 5 1986 SUBJECT: REFERENCES: ENCLOSURES: FILE: Resolution Amending Agreement Storm Drainage Master Plan It is respectfully recommended that the City Commission adopt the attached resolution authorizing the execution of an amendment in a form acceptable to the City Attorney and Priede-Sedgwick, Inc. to the August 8, 1986 Agreement between Priede-Sedgwick, Inc. and the City of Miami for professional services in the development of a Comprehensive Storm Drainage Master Plan, in accordance with the terms and conditions as set forth therein. BACKGROUND: The Department of Public Works has analyzed the need to execute an amendment to the existing City agreement with Priede-Sedgwick, Inc. The proposed amendment extends the termination date of the contract by one year to August 5, 1987 and increases the maximum total compensation allowed from $183,000 to $256,000. The extension of time and increase in compensation are necessary so that the Consultant can expand on the financial element of the master plan and identify a long range funding program to address the City's drainage improvement needs estimated in the master plan at $267,000,000. The additional funds required for the increase in compensation will be allocated from funds previously appropriated for the project. Attachments: Proposed Resolution 86Z
