A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING 3:30 P.M., THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 1987, OR A RECONVENED MEETING, AS THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR CONSIDERATION OF A FINDING OF NO SUBSTANTIAL DEVIATION AND AN AMENDMENT TO EXHIBIT "A" FINDINGS OF FACT NUMBER 1 OF THE DEVELOPMENT ORDER (RESOLUTION 84-589, MAY 24, 1984) AND MAJOR USE SPECIAL PERMIT (RESOLUTION 84-723, JUNE 28, 1984) FOR THE 1221 BRIC KELL PROJECT, LOCATED AT 1221 BRICKELL; AS PROPOSED BY THE APPLICANT, AMERISWISS ASSOCIATES. WHEREAS, Chapter 380, Florida Statutes, requires developers of Developments of Regional Impact, as defined in Chapter 380, F.S. to apply for, and receive an amended Development Order where there is any proposed change to a previously approved Development Order; and WHEREAS, the 1221 Brickell Avenue Project meets the criteria for a Development of Regional Impact, as set forth in Chapter 380, F.S.; and WHEREAS, Article 28, of Ordinance 9500, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Miami, requires developers of Major Uses, as defined in Section 2806 of said article, to submit any proposed changes to a previously issued Major Use Special Permit to the City Commission; and WHEREAS, the 1221 Brickell Avenue project meets the criteria for Major Use designation, as set forth in Ordinance 9500, Section 2801; and WHEREAS, the City of Miami Commission has previously issued a Development Order (Resolution 84-589, May 24, 1984), and a Major Use -Special Permit (Resolution 84-723, June 28, 1984) for the 1221 Brickell Project; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The Commission hereby establishes 3:30 P.M., Thursday, February 26, 1987, or a reconvened meeting, as the date for a public hearing for consideration of a finding of no substantial deviation and an amendment to CITY COMMISSION MEETING OF JAN Z2 1987 IN No. S I Exhibit "A", Findings of Fact, Number 1 of the Development Order (Resolution 84-589; May 24, 1984) and Major Use Special Permit (Resolution 84-723; June 28, 1984) for the 1221 Brickell Avenue Project located at 1221 Brickell Avenue as proposed by the applicant, Ameriswiss Associates. Odio City Manager Recommendation :)ATE FILE Establishment of Public Hearing Date: Amendment to Development Order, 1221 Brickell Project, a ,!E:FFREtiCF:S Development of Regional Impact N CLO SU Hi:n It is respectfully recommended that the City Commission establish 3:30 pm Thursday, February 26, 1987, as the public hearing date to consider an amendment to the Development Order and a Major Use Special Permit, and a finding of no substantial deviation, for the 1221 Brickell project a Development of Regional Impact, located at 1221 Brickell Avenue, as proposed by the applicant, Ameriswiss Associates, per the attached resolution. Background The Planning Department is responsible for administering the state mandated review process relating to Developments of Regional Impact. Per Chapter 380.06 F.S., local government is required to set a date certain and to give public notice of a required public hearing on an amendment to a previously issued Development Order for a Development of Regional Impact. The applicant is requesting the addition of a 2,000 square foot mezzanine floor within the existing office building. It is requested that the Commission establish February 26, 1987 as the public hearing date for the 1221 Brickell project. CHO/SR Attachment 8'7-1'1.41__ 0
