Dougherty DATE: FILE: DEC 3 0 ib:,o City Attorney SUBJECT. Amendment to Resolution No. 86-287 FROM ✓ fi'f1'Y„ REFERENCES: Clarence Dickson Cobia Boat Company Chief of Police ENCLOSURES r. On April 10,.1986, the City Commission passed Resolution No. a&- 287 authorizing the purchase of two (2) marine patrnl vessels from the Cobia Boat Company. It was my intent that these be purchased with revenues from the Law Enforcement Trust Fund; However, the resolution prepared by the General Services Administration and executed by the City Commission reflects that monies for the purchase of these boats will come from funds allocated from the 1984-85 Operating Budget of the Department. Another minor error which needs to be addressed is the reference to the bid date under Section 1 of this resolution. This date should be July 17, 1985, rather than July 17, 1986. Therefore, I am requesting that you take appropriate action so that the discrepancies/errors in the Cobia Boat Company purchase resolution be corrected, and the resolution amended to reflect the correct information and the intent in order to avoid any future problems and/or confusion regarding this matter. Your assistance in this matter of mutual interest is greatly appreciated. CD:mp Attachments 87-85 - A RESOLUTION NO. 86-287 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF C013IA BOAT CO.
