A RESOLUTION APPOINTING TWO INDIVIDUALS TO
THE CITY'S CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD, EACH TO
SERVE A TERM ENDING FEBRUARY 10, 1990.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section I. The following two individuals are hereby
appointed as members of the City's Code Enforcement Board,
effective this date, to serve until February 10, 1990:

Please be advised that Resolution No. 87-201 reappointing a
member (Ralph Johnson) to the Code Enforcement Board need not be
rescinded, despite its inefficacy which results from the
statutory limitation upon reappointment of members to the Code
Enforcement Board.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Commission approve the attached
Resolution appointing two indtviduals to the code Enforcement
Board.
BACKGROUND
The Code Enforcement Board has two vacancies as or February 10,
1987. These vacancies are due to the expiration of a three-year
term, held by Ralph Johnson; and the expiration of a three-year
term, filled by Raul Gonzalez Viera, since April of 1986.
Section 2-392 of the City Code provides for a seven -member Code
Enforcement Board for enforcing technical codes of the City of
Miami, which, whenever possible, shall consist of an architect,, a
businessperson, an engineer, a general contractor, a
subcontractor, and a realtor.
Listed below are the names, occupations and terms of appointment
for all current Code Enforcement Aoard members.
