BACKGROUND: The Department of Public Works has analyzed the need to execute the attached amendment to the existing City agreement with the Little Havana Development Authority. The proposed amendment increases the termination date of the contract by two months to June 26, 1987• The extension is necessary so that the Little Havana Development Authority can continue to provide its services through the completion of the County's S.W. 17 Avenue rebuilding project, which has been dalayed by Right -of -Way acquisition problems. There will be no additional funding for this extension. The funds have previously been appropriated and approved by the Economic Development Administration (the Granting Agency) for physical improvements for the proposed Latin Quarter Project.
