ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ATLAS OF
ORDINANCE NO. 95001, AS AMENDED, THE ZONING
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, BY
CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION FROM RG-
1/3 TO RG-2.1/3.3 ZONING CLASSIFICATION TO
THE AREA GENERALLY BOUNDED BY COCOANUT AVENUE
ON THE NORTH; CENTER STREET ON THE EAST; A
LINE PARALLEL TO COCOANUT AVENUE AND LOCATED
APPROXIMATELY 150 FEET SOUTH OF IT ON THE
SOUTH; AND VIRGINIA STREET ON THE WEST;
MAKING FINDINGS; AND BY MAKING ALL NECESSARY
CHANGES ON PAGE NUMBER 42 OF THE ZONING
ATLAS; CONTAINING A REPEALER PROVISION AND A
SEVERABILITY CLAUSE.
WHEREAS, the Miami Planning Advisory Board, at its meeting
of February 18, 1987, Item No. 2d, following an advertised
hearing, adopted Resolution No. PAS 15fi87, by a 6 to 3 vote,
RECOMMENDING APPROVAL of app ing zonin classification to
the subject properties, as her 'n�f r set r h; and
WHEREAS, the City Commiss`dn, after consideration of this
matter deems it adviftle and W the best interest of the general
welfare of the city 1o% \Mt4nft and its inhabitants to grant this
application as herein�fAeV /set forth;
NOW, THEREF4RF, B1k tT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLOR
Section 1. ` The Zoning Atlas of Ordinance No. 9500, the
Zoning Ordinance f the City of Miami, Florida, is hereby amended
by c an%ingit Zoning Classification from RG-1/3 to RG-2.1/3.3
to area nerally bounded by Cocoanut Avenue on the North;
C er treet on the East; a line parallel to Cocoanut Avenue and
located a r imately 150 feet South of it on the South; and
Virginia St t on the West.
