SUBJECT: Miami Children's Hospital

Miami Children's Hospital provides a valuable service to our
community. Services like trauma care, research, training and
specialized medical services are provided daily to the youth of
our area.
Since the scope of services is much greater than the charges made
on an individual basis, it is necessary to ask for voluntary
contributions.
One Biscayne Tower as a member of Building Owners and Managers
Association of greater Miami enthusiastically supports the work
done by Miami Children's Hospital and is proud to support this
cause.
There are events planned and random drawings to be held (for
donated prizes) to stimulate interest and support. Thus far, the
following prizes have been donated:
Carpet Shampoo
Haircut and Styling
Executive Attache Case
Fully outfitted Aquarium
We will keep you advised of further developments.
We have established a fund at City National Bank for the accoun
ting and security of all donations. 100% of all Donations goes
to Miami Children's Hospital. There is no overhead deduction or
professional fees paid to any organization. And of course, all
donations are tax deductible. ALL CHECKS SHOULD BE MADE PAYABLE
TO MIAMI CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL.
Please help us with your kind donation. Enclosed is a pledge
card for your use. Please return it to our office, drop it in
the "Aquarium" at the Security Desk in our Main Lobby or, if you
prefer, call us and we will pick it up.
On behalf of Miami Children's Hospital and The Building Owners
and Managers Association of Greater Miami, I thank you.

PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE:
I am both pleased an excited to provide you with the following
information concerning our 1987 effort to "give something back to
Miami."
As you know, from our March luncheon announcement, the Board of
Director's approved our selection of the Miami Children's
Hospital Foundation, "Children's Miracle Network Telethon" as our
support effort for 1987.
We are all very fortunate.Miami has been good for us and our
industry/profession. This is the lot Annual BOMA Charities Drive
for the benefit of Greater Miami. This drive will be an annual
event; recipient's of our efforts/contributions will be presented
to the Board in February of future years so we can "MARCH
FORWARD" with the kickoff at our March meetings.
Last year, Jorge Felix, then maintenance engineer at the One
Biscayne Tower office building and some of the management staff,
collected $750. for the 198E Children's Miracle I4etwork Telethon.
The Hospital Development Group was impressed with this effort and
contacted us this year for Chapter support. We can make a
significant effort and contribution, given what one building did,
in a short period of time, with a few people.
Our BOMA Charity Drive is Chaired by Bill Kelly, Vice President &
General Manager, One Biscayne Tower and Jack Goodrich, Building
Manager, Aincrifirst Building. We appreciate Bill and Jack
volunteering to head up this Committee. Bill Cutler, Marketing
Director,Jaymont Management (One Biscayne Tower) and Mike
Faulkner, Building Manager, One Brickell Square have volunteered
to assist them. Your help is needed; contact Bill Kelly (374-
5678) or Jack Goodrich (371-2457) to volunteer your time.
Everyone needs to be involved.
We have sent our goal at $10,000. We have already received
pledges of $2,300. before our official kickoff. We are very
excited about this and appreciate the support, interest,
dedication and involvement.
All donations of $100. or more will be listed (monthly) in our
newsletter from May through December 1987 on a special HONOR ROLL
LIST.
The following pledges have been received:
Oxford Building Services $500.
The D. B. Sumner Company 250.
United Waste Disposal 200.
Wells Fargo Company 200.
Jaymont Management Co/One Biscayne Tower 200.

thus far. He showed it to Jack Goodrich and I and got us to take
