PETITION 2. Amendment "S-2"
Consideration of amending Ordinance 9500, as
amended, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Miami, Florida, by amending the Official
Schedule of District Regulations, a part of said
Ordinance 9500, page 1 of 6, RG-1 GENERAL
RESIDENTIAL (One and Two Family), Uses and
Structures, Principal Uses and Structures,
Permitted Generally, to delete paragraph 3 that
currently allows conversion or new construction
provided that the minimum lot area per dwelling
unit is 2,500 square feet; Minimum Lot
Requirements, to delete the 1 i ne "net lot area
per dwelling unit - 2,500 square feet" and to
delete the exception in the following paragraph
that currently provides that semidetached
structures may be on minimum lot widths of 25
feet for each unit.
(Note: Former Amendment "S" has* been divided
into Amendments "S-1" and "S-2"; a remainder of
Amendment "S" has been withdrawn and will be
sent to the Planning Advisory Board).
REQUEST. To amend Zoning Ordinance 9500 to eliminate a
net lot area ratio in RG-1.
BACKGROUND The Departments of Planning, and Building and
Zoning meet periodically to review and recommend
revisions in Zoning Ordinance 9500.
ANALYSIS These amendments would:

Approval.
PLANNING ADVISORY BOARD At its meeting of January 21, 1987, the Planning
Advisory Board adopted Resolution PAB 8-87, by
a 9 to 0 vote, recommending approval of the above.
CITY COMMISSION At its meeting of February 26, 1987, the City
Commission passed the above on First Reading.
At its meeting of March 31, 1987, the City _
Coammission deferred the above on Second Reading,
as mended.
At its meeting of April 30, 1987, the City
Commission deferred the above.
