AN ORDINANCE REPEALING, IN ITS ENTIRETY, CHAPTER 31, ENTITLED "LICENSE AND MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS REGULATIONS" OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, RELATING TO OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE TAXES AND SUBSTITUTING THEREFOR A NEW CHAPTER 31, ENTITLED "OCCUPATIONAL LICENSES AND MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS REGULATIONS" CONTAINING A REPEALER PROVISION, A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. Chapter 31, entitled "Licenses and Miscellaneous Business Regulations," of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended, is hereby repealed in its entirety an new Chapter 31 is hereby substituted in its place to read as llows: "Chapter 31 1 OCCUPATIONAL LICENSES AND MISCELI�'l�IOOS BUSINESS REGULATIONS jj//�� ARTICLE k Licens Sec. 31-1. Required; separlNte locations licensed separately. (a) As a condition prec dent to engaging in or operating in the city any business, profession or occupation referred expressly or otherwise in section 31-35 her , whether as owner, agent, employee, manager erator, a license shall be procured from he city as provided in this chapter, on or f re October lst of each year. Any individual, nership, or other incorporated or unincorporated business entity conducting any business, pr fenrein, ion or occupation referred to in section 31- 5 whether as owner, agent, employee, a ager or operator, who does not possess a a d and current occupational license and display a same as required by section 31-2 herein, shall a guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction be punished by not more than thirty (30) days imprisonment or a fine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or both. Each day the above -described violation occurs shall constitute a separate offense. (b) Such conditions precedent shall apply, separately and severally, to each place or location where any such business, profession or occupation will be engaged in or operated regardless of the capacity in which the person or legal entity, engaging in or operating such business, profession or
