RE: Participation in the Commission's Agenda
( June 25, 19 8 7 )
Dear Mr. Odio:
71
I am the owner of the property located at 225-27 N.W. 34 Ave,
Miami, Florida 33125. I have been the owner of the property for
almost ten (10) years. During the last three years I have had
continuous problems with the Zoning and Building Department and
with the Public Works Departments of the City of Miami, with
reference to this property.
Four years ago, my neighbor illegally erected a fence and I
requested that the inspectors of the City order him to tear it
down. The inspectoes refused to do so, and the fence was not
dismantled until I appealed directly to the Commission by letter
two years later.
Since that time, the City inspectors have given me all ki::ds
of problems, including:
1. A Mahogany tree was planted on my property by
the Public Works Department on the property
line and has caused me endless trouble.
2. They have requested that I make repairs on my hose
that are totally unecessary since my house is up to
code.
3.' They are now telling me that my house has illegal
constructions.
I have invited the City of Miami on different ocassions to
inspect my house and my property, in order to verify that there
are no illegal constructions on the premises. I have not received
an answer as to these invitations and I have not received an answer
as to the plant, which I believe should be removed.

Having appealed to Zoning authorities I have.not received
an answer from them and feel that my only recourse is to appeal
directly to the City Commissioner.
Very truly yours,
