A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING TERMS OF OFFICE FOR INDIVIDUALS CURRENTLY SPORTSGANDSEXHIBITIONOAUTHORITYIAMI BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The following terms of office are hereby designated for current members of the Miami Sports and Exhibition Authority: GROUP 1 Term expiring June 24, 1989 Robert N. Allen Jr. Eli Feinberg Eugene D. Marks Frankie S. Rolle Julius J. Shepard GROUP 2 Term expiring June 24, 1988 William Bayer George F. Knox Fausto Diaz -Oliver Monty Trainer Section 2. All past acts and procedings of the Miami Sports and Exhibition Authority and all actions taken by original members who have heretofore been appointed by formal resolution and all actions taken by members who were subsequently appointed or reappointed either by Motion or Resolution of the City Commission are hereby validated, ratified and confirmed. REFERENCES: ENCLOSURES: RECOMMENDATION: It is respectfully recommended that the City Commission adopt the attached resolution designating terms of office for individuals currently serving as members of the Miami Sports and Exhibition Authority. BACKGROUND: On March Ji, 1987, the City Commission, via Resolution 87-303 designated terms of office for the nine (9) voting members of the Miami Sports and Exhibition Authority. Five (5) of the nine (9) members were designated to serve two (2) year terms expiring on June 24, 1989 (Group 1), and the remaining four (4) individuals will serve one (1) year terms which expire on June 24, 1988 (Group 2). 8 7-6;8 11-
