RESOLUTION - (J-87-832) - (AUTHORIZING CLOSURE OF STREETS, ESTABLISHMENT OF A PEDESTRIAN MALL & ESTABLISHMENT OF AN AREA PROHIBITED TO RETAIL PEDDLERS) Concerning the Columbus Day Caribbean Carnival Parade to be conducted by the American Caribbean South Florida Association. Inc. on October 10, 1987, providing for the closure of designated streets to through vehicular traffic, establishing a pedestrian mall subject to the Issuance of permits by the Departments of Police and Fire, Rescue and Inspection Services; further establishing an area prohibited to retail peddlers during the period of the event; conditioned upon the requirement that the City will be Insured against any potential liability and upon organizers paying for all necessary costs of City services associated with said event.
