ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 38-49 OF THE
CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, AS
AMENDED, BY ALLOWING THE SALE AND CONSUMPTION
OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES IN RESTAURANT
FACILITIES AT BICENTENNIAL AND BAYFRONT
PARKS, AND BY ALLOWING SUCH SALES AND
CONSUMPTION: IN AN ADDITIONAL RESTAURANT
FACILITY A: FORT DALLAS PARK; CONTAINING A
REPEALER PROVISION AND A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE.
WHEREAS, the City Code presently permits the a . and
consumption of beer and wine as part of re ula estaurant
operations at Bayfront and Bicentennial Par s; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Park, eation and Public
Facilities has begun the competi 1v ce for the lease of. a
third restaurant facility at For Da las ark; and
WHEREAS, in order to maxim' evenue potential at City
leased restaurant 11acf lities, it i� appropriate to allow full
alcoholic beverage ..service, within prescribed limitations of
state and local la
NOW, THERE ORE, F IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, L RIDA:

Florida i he eby amended.in the following particulars:

a) Possessicn or consumption of alcoholic beverages
hin park limits of any City park is prohibited except as

(1) Alcoholic Beverages Beer and wime may be sold? ind
consumed at Fort Dallas, Bicentennial and Bayfront Parks
within city restaurant facilities therein during hours
allowed by this Code and in accordance with all city
ordinances and state laws presently applicable and which
maybe applicable in the future.
