Odio City Manager 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, Florida 33133 Dear Mr. Odio: Frank Castenada, Director of Community Development, has advised me that I should request a personal appearance before the City Commission regarding the allocation of $50,000 for Overtown of the Department of Off -Street Parking surplus funds. We propose to use these funds for consultants' fees for feasibility studies and, if possible, preliminary planning for the best mixed -use develop- ment of the site adjoining the 0vertown Metrorail station and the site adjoining the Culmer Metrorail station. In preliminary discussions with Ben Guildford of Dade County Metro Dade Transit and Dean Patrinelly of Decoma, there appears to be keen interest in the development of these sites and the impact on the Miami Arena.
