WHEREAS, pursuant to public notice, sealed bids were received August 24, 1987 for furnishing Air Conditioning Maintenance Service at the Computers Department Building on a contract basis for one (1) year renewable annually to the Department of General Services Administration; and WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to thirty two (32) potential suppliers and five (5) bids were received; and WHEREAS, funds for this purchase will be available from the 1987-88 Operating Budget Account Code #420401-670; and WHEREAS, this service will be used by the Department of General Services Administration for the purpose of providing air conditioning maintenance to the Computers Department building; and WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Director of the Department of General Services Administration recommend that the bid received from Florida Cool Services, Inc. be accepted as the lowest responsible and responsive bid; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: i t Section 1.
