RESOLUTION NO. S 7 --1015
A RESOLUTION ALLOCATING AN AMOUNT NOT TO
EXCEED $50,000 FROM SPECIAL PROGRAMS AND
ACCOUNTS, CONTINGENT FUND, TO PARTIALLY COVER
THE RENTAL OF THE COCONUT GROVE EXHIBITION
CENTER FOR THE ANTIQUE AND JEWELRY SHOWS
PRESENTED BY COCONUT GROVE CARES, INC., AT A
RATE OF $5,000 PER SHOW FOR EACH OF TEN (10)
SHOWS TO BE HELD DURING THE PERIOD OCTOBER 1,
1987 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30, 1988; SAID
ALLOCATION BEING CONDITIONED UPON SUBSTANTIAL
COMPLIANCE WITH ADMINISTRATIVE POLICY NO. APM
1-84 DATED JANUARY 24, 1987.
WHEREAS, on October 22, 1987, the City Commission expressed
its intent to allocate an amount not to exceed $30,000 in support
of Coconut Grove Cares, Inc., to partially cover the rent of the
Coconut Grove Exhibition Center for the Antique and Jewelry Show
conducted by said organization in an effort to raise funds to
benefit the community; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to increase
this amount to $50,000 representing an allocation of $5,000 per
show for ten (10) shows for the period October 1, 1987 through
September 30, 1988;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA;
Section 1. An amount not to exceed $50,000 is hereby
allocated from Special Programs and Accounts, Contingent Fund,
to partially cover the rental of the Coconut Grove Exhibition
Center for the Antique and Jewelry Shows presented by Coconut
Grove Cares, Inc., at a rate of $5,000 per show for each of ten
(10) shows to be held during the period October 1, 1987 through
September 30, 1988.

Section 2. The herein allocation is hereby conditioned upon
substantial compliance with City of Miami Administrative Policy
No. APM 1-84, dated January 24, 1984.
