Odio, Manager Dear Cesar: It is'our understanding that the City of Miami's G.S.A. is planning to auction Police Vehicles and Police Motorcycles in the near future. We, as a small municipality with a very limited budget, would once again rely upon your generosity and good will in allowing us to have eight used police vehicles with emergency equipment (except police radios) and -five used police motor- cycles with emergency equipment (except police radios). This acquisition would supplement our old fleet of police vehicles and motorcycles. Some of the vehicles will be used for spare parts to reduce our operational budget of 1988. We clearly understand that consideration for this equipment will only be made if the City of Miami does not have any other commitments for this equipment. Your consideration in this matter -would be greatly appreciated by the citizens of Sweetwater, and those of us who labor to make ends meet in City government. It will be a pleasure for myself and Charles Toledo, Chief of Police to appear before the. City Commission to answer any questions you or the Commissioners may have. Sincerely yours, cc: Mr. Aurelio Perez Isi'duro C. Cuevas. 500 A.31. 189th ,.Aueuue • Stuetfinter, +311M.-bit 33174-1398 2214411 2
