ORDINANCE NO,
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 9500, AS
AMENDED, THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FLORIDA, BY CHANGING THE ZONING
CLASSIFICATION FROM RG-1/3 TO RG-2/5 FOR THE
AREA GENERALLY BOUNDED BY COCOANUT AVENUE ON
THE SOUTH; A LINE PARALLEL TO VIRGINIA STREET
AND LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 150 FEET EAST OF IT
ON THE WEST; A LINE PARALLEL TO COCOANUT
AVENUE AND LOCATED 150 FEET NORTH OF IT ON
THE NORTH; AND A LINE PARALLEL TO SOUTHWEST
27TH AVENUE AND LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 150
FEET WEST OF IT ON THE EAST; MAKING FINDINGS;
AND BY MAKING ALL NECESSARY CHANGES ON PAGE
NUMBER 42 OF THE ZONING ATLAS; CONTAINING A
REPEALER PROVISION AND A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE.
WHEREAS, the Miami Planning Advisory Board, at its, meeting
of October 7, 1987, Item No. 1, following a - advertised hearing,
adopted Resolution No. PAB _, by a 9 to 0 vote, RECOMMENDING
APPROVAL of applying the zoning class fi ation to the subject
properties, as hereinafter set forth and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, er consideration of this
matter deems it advisable and n the est interest the general
welfare of the. City of Miami n its inhabitants to rant this
application as hereinafter se f th;
NOW, THEREFORE, B IT ORD INED BY THE COM I N OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The ing Atlas o n nce No. 9500, the
Zoning Ordinance of the Cit of i,�F11) da, is hereby amended
by changingthe Zoning Classif cat n i�cdm RG-1 -
9 /3 to RG 2/5 to
the area generally bounded by Avenue on the South; a
line parallel to Virginia Street a d located approximately 150
feet East of it on the West; a line parallel to Cocoanut Avenue
and located 150 feet North of it on the North; and a line
parallel to Southwest 27th Avenue and located approximately 150
feet West of it on the West more particularly described as Lots
4, 5, 6, 7, Be 9, 10, 110 12, 130 14, 15, lb, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21,
22 and 23, Block 1, PALM TERRACE, as recorded in Plat Book 3 at
page 47 of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida.
