Planning Advisory Board
On November 4, 1987, in connection with PAB agenda items 1 and Z - the proposed
re-zoning/redesignation of Southside Park, the Planning Advisory Board, by a vote
of 6 to 4 passed Resolution PAB 67-87, as follows:
*Resolution recommending to the City Comei ssi on that
another site be found (except Southside Park) for -La Liga
Contra El Cancer, particularly including the City -owned
site at the demolished Highland Park School at N. W. 7th
Avenue and 11th Street, across from the Culmer Transit
Station and in.the vicinity of Jackson Memorial Hospital."
