HomeMy WebLinkAboutItem #21 - First Reading Ordinance.. ~ ' J-87-849 9/30/87 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ATLAS OF ORDINANCE N0. 9500, THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, BY CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF APPROXIMATELY 2600 NORTHWEST 14TH STREET, MIAMI, FLORIDA, (MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN) FROM RG-I/3 ONE AND TWO FAMILY DETACHED RESIDENTIAL TO RG-2/5 GENERAL RESIDENTIAL BY MAKING FINDINGS; AND BY MAKING ALL THE NECESSARY CHANGES ON PAGE N0. 25 OF SAID ZONING ATLAS MADE A PART OF ORDINANCE N0. 9500 BY REFERENCE AND DESCRIPTION IN ARTICLE 3, SECTION 300, THEREOF; CONTAINING A REPEALER PROVISION AND A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE. WHEREAS, the Miami Zoning Board, at its meeting of September 3, 1987, Item No. 6, following an advertised hearing, adopted Resolution No. ZB 101-87, by a eight to one (8-1) vote, RECOMMENDING DENIAL of a zoning q'~assification, as here' after set forth; and (~ / WHEREAS, the City Co ss on after careful consi tion of this matter deems 't dv s and in the best t~rest of the general welfare of ~th ity of 'ami it inhabitants, notwithstanding t Zoning Board's re om~idation of denial, to grant this change zoning classi 'c ion as hereinafter set forth; NOW, THEREFORE, BE YT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OE THE CITY ORDINANCE NO. ~~-!2 OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The Zoning Atlas of Ordinance No. 9500, the zoning ordinance of the City of Miami, Florida, is hereby amended by changing the zoning classification of approximately 2600 Northwest 14th Street, Miami, Florida, more particularly described as Lot 5, Block 1, SHADY OARS as recorded in Plat Book 44 at Page 20 of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, from RG-1/3 One and Two Family Detached Residential to RG-2/5 General Residential.
