REQUEST To permit garage sales by Special Permit in *the single-family and duplex districts (RS-1, RS=2, RS-1.1, RG-1). ' BACKGkOUND This amendment has been proposed by the Building and Zoning Department. ANALYSIS This proposed amendment recognizes that people quite often hold garage sales to sell tne,ir used clothing or household goods and that some simple controls could limit the impact of these- sales on abutting and surrounding neighbors. This proposed amendment would: 1. Authorize a garage sale by Soecial Permit trom the Building, and Zoning eoartmen , 2. Limi t the duration and f reouency of the sales on, the same property, Limit the goods being sold to second ah"household goods, ....."".." . . PAB 6/3/8" t _.
