RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Commission approve the attached
Resolution appointing two individuals to the Code Enforcement
Board.
BACKGROUND
The Code Enforcement Board has two vacancies as of February 11,
1988. These vacancies are due to the expiration of a three-year
term held by Peter Padowitz (engineer); and the expiration of a
three-year term held by Richard Diaz (businessperson).
Section 2-392 of the City Code provides for a seven-member Code
Enforcement Board for enforcing technical codes of the City of
Miami, which, whenever possible, shall consist of an architect, a
businessperson, an engineer, a general contractor, .a
subcontractor, and a realtor.
Listed below are the names, occupations and terms of appointment
for all current Code Enforcement Board members.
