FOR FURNISHING GROUNDS MAINTENANCE SERVICES AT THE COCONUT GROVE EXHIBITION CENTER ON A CONTRACT BASIS FOR ONE (1) YEAR RENEWABLE ANNUALLY FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION AT A TOTAL PROPOSED COST OF $10,536.96; ALLOCATING FUNDS THEREFOR FROM THE COCONUT GROVE EXHIBITION CENTER ENTERPRISE FUND ACCOUNT CODE #580407-340; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE CHIEF PROCUREMENT OFFICER TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER FOR THIS SERVICE. WHEREAS, pursuant to public notice, sealed bids were - received September 30, 1987 for the furnishing of Grounds Maintenance Services at the Coconut Grove Exhibition Center to the Department of General Services Administration; and WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to twenty three (23) potential suppliers and four (4) bids were received; and WHEREAS, funds for this purchase are available in the Coconut Grove Exhibition Center Enterprise Fund Account Code No. 580407-340; and WHEREAS, this service will be used by the Department of General Services Administration for the purpose of providing grounds maintenance services at the Coconut Grove Exhibition Center; and WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Director of the Department of General Services Administration recommend that the bid received from Coconut Grove Local Development Corporation, Inc. be accepted as the lowest responsible and responsive bid; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: ' Section 1. The September 30, 1987 bid of Coconut Grove Local Development Corporation, Inc. for furnishing grounds maintenance services at the Coconut Grove Exhibition Center for the Department of General Services Administration at a total proposed cost of $10,536.96 is hereby accepted with funds therefor hereby allocated from the Coconut Grove Exhibition Center Enterprise Fund Account Code No. 580407-340.
