Ordinance 9500, as amended, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Miami to RG-2/5 General Residential. RECOMMENDATIONS PLANNING DEPARTMENT DENIAL. The proposed change would not be in conformity with the Miami Comprehensive Neighborhood Plan and would require a plan amendment. The requested change would create an isolated district unrelated to adjacent districts to the east and west of the subject property. The proposed change would constitute a grant of special privilege -to an individual owner as contrasted with protection of the public welfare. If the request for change were to include also Lots 4, 6, 7, 8 and-9 of Block 1 of SHADY OAKS, that is, those, lots to the' south of NW 14 Street, the Planning Department would reconsider its position as opposed to the present request which_, only includes one lot. The request, use wise, would still be residential in nature and this new zoning designation could serve as a buffer to the more stable two-family residential area to the .north of NW 14 Street.
