FLORIDA 2317E February 12, 1988 Caesar Odio 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, Florida 33133 Dear Mr Odio, I humbly request to be placed on the agenda of March 10, 1988, City of Miami, for the purpose of obtaining funds from the City of Miami for a joint project with the American Legion and the County of Dade, for the restoration of the war memorial in Woodlawn Cemetery, located in the City of Miami. This memorial was constructed in 1930 and during the past fifty-five years, the weather has taken its toll uppon this memorial. The restoration of this memorial would be most beneficial to the City of Miami and the County of Dade, as there is no memorial of this type located in the City of Miami or the County of Dade, honoring the military personnel who have sacrificed their lives in the service of their country. For God and Country, Charles W. Old, Commander Dade County Commanders Council American Legion, Dept. of Florida c: Aurelio Perez-Lugones D_- Harivej 8'-243
