Presentation of the proposed Edison Center gateway
Project which is designed to improve the aesthetic
appearance of the Edison Center Business District as
well as to create a landscaped Gateway into the area.
Initially, improvements will include landscaping and
brick pavers in the following areas: NW 58th Street
to NW 64th Street along NW 7th Avenue; and NW 62
Street from I-95 to NW loth Avenue. However, it is
proposed that future plans for the Gateway Project
will be extended to NW 12th Avenue along NW 62nd
Street (MLK Jr. Boulevard).
MDTE: Per direction of the Co ission on February
18, 1988, the City Administration was
instructed to conduct the presentation of this
proposed project at a public hearing on March
24, 1968.
