A RESOLUTION CO -DESIGNATING SOUTHWEST 34TR AVENUE FROM FLAGLER STREET TO SOUTHWEST 3RD STREET, MIAMI, FLORIDA, AS "COLONEL VICTOR ESTEFAN BOULEVARD"; FURTHER DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO TRANSMIT A COPY OF THIS RESOLUTION TO ALL AFFECTED GOVERNMENT AGENCIES. WHEREAS, it is only fitting to demonstrate appreoiation of all oitizens of the City of Miami for the saorifioe of Miami Polioe Colonel Viotor Estefan who was slain this month while performing his duty; and WHEREAS, this aotion is taken to recognize loyalty, bravery and integrity of Colonel Viotor Estefan and his oompassion for the oitizens of the City of Miami; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Seotion 1. The Miami City Commission hereby oo- designates Southwest 34th Avenue from Flagler Street to Southwest 3rd Street, Miami, Florida, as "Colonel Viotor Estefan Boulevard". Seotion 2. The City Clerk is hereby direoted to transmit a dopy of this resolution to the United States Postal Authority, the Traffio and Transportation Seotion of the Metropolitan Dade County Publio Works Department, the City of Miami Polioe Department, Publio Works Department and the Fire, Resoue and Inspeotion Servioes Department.
