A RESOLUTION ACCEPTIMC THE COMPLETED WORK
OF P.N.M. CORPORATION AT A TOTAL COST OF
$2179646.00 FOR CITYWIDE SIDEWALK
REPLACEMENT PROJECT C.I.P. PROJECT NO.
141152 AND AUTHOR1714C A FINAL PAYMENT OF
$21,764.60.
WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated February 2, 19P7
between the City of Miami, Florida and P.N.M. Corporation; and
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily cor►plsted by
P.N.M. Corporation and they have furnished the required
documents certifying that all hills for labor and materials
have been paid in full in connection with the aforesaid
contract; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Department of Public
Works recommend that the completed work be accepted and final
payment made to the contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The completed work performed by P.N.M.
Corporation for CITYWIDE SIDEWALK REPLACEMENT PROJECT C.I.P.
Project No. 341152 is hereby accepted at a total cost of
$217,646.00 is hereby approved.
Section 2. The proper officials of the City of Miami are
hereby authorized to pay $21,764.60 to P.N.M. Corporation as
full and final payment for all work performed and all materials
furnished in connection with CITYWIDE SIDEWALK REPLACEMENT
PROJECT C.I.P. Project No. 341152.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is respectfully recommended that the City Commission adopt the
attached resolution accepting the completed work performed by
P.N.M. Corporation at a total cost of $217,646.00 for CITYWIDE
SIDEWALK REPLACEMENT PROJECT C.I.P. Project No. 341152 and
authorizing a final payment of $21,764.60.
BACKGROUND:
The Department of Public Works has determined that it is now in
order for the Commission to accept the completed work and
authorize final payment, after all conditions are met for Citywide
Sidewalk Replacement Project C.I.P. Project No. 341152.
P.N.M. Corporation has completed the project consisting of the
replacement of broken and hazardous sidewalk in an area bounded by
S.W. P-22 Streets and S.W. 27-37 Avenues.
The total payment to the contractor will be $15,754.00 less than
the original contract amount of S23?,400.00 because none of the
cash allowance and not all of the proposal items were used.
