A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF ALFRED LLOYD 3 SONS IN THE PROPOSED AMOUNT OF $34,853.00, TOTAL BASE BID OF THE PROPOSAL, FOR CITY WIDE SANITARY SEWER EXTENSION IMPROVEMENT - S.W. 8 COURT; WITH MONIES THEREFOR ALLOCATED FROM THE 1988 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT ORDINANCE NO. 10347, PROJECT NO. 351274 IN THE AMOUNT OF $34,853.00 TO COVER THE CONTRACT COST; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH SAID FIRM AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH A NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR OBJECTIONS TO THE ACCEPTANCE BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE COMPLETED CONSTRUCTION BY ALFRED LLOYD 8 SONS OF CITY WIDE SANITARY SEWER EXTENSION IMPROVEMENT - S.W. 8 COURT UPON SATISFACTORY COMPLETION OF SAID CONSTRUCTION. WHEREAS, sealed bids were received March 10, 1988 for City Wide Sanitary Sewer Extension Improvement - S.W. 8 Court; and WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Director of Public Works recommend that the bid received from Alfred Lloyd & Sons be accepted as the lowest responsible and responsive bid; and WHEREAS, the 1988 Capital Improvement Ordinance No. 10347, was adopted on November 19, 1987, and monies are available for the proposed amount of the contract, project expense, and Incidentals under Project *351274 of said ordinance; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The March 10, 1988, bid of Alfred Lloyd 8 Sons In the proposed amount of $34,853.00, for the project entitled City Wide Sanitary Sewer Extension Improvement - S.W. 8 Court, for the total base bid of the proposal, based on unit prices, is hereby accepted at the price stated therein. Section 2. The amount of $34,853.00 Is hereby allocated from the 1988 Capital Improvement Ordinance No. 10347, Project No. 351274 to cover the cost of said contract.
