ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION I OF
ORDINANCE Nu.10349, ADOPTED NOVEMBER 19,
1987, WHICH ESTABLISHED A SPECIAL REVENUE
FUND ENTITLED "EMERGENCY SHELTER GRANT
(FY'88)", APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR OPERATION
OF SAME IN T1 -lE AMOUNT Of' $203,000 FROM U,S-
DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT
(USHUD), BY INCREASING ri-iFl APPROPRIATION BY
$32,000 TO $235,900.
WHEREAS, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban
Development (USHUD) has informed the (-'-i,t,y that. it-- is eligible to
apply for an additJonal $32,000 from the U.S. Depart-ment. of
Housing and Urban Development. (USHUD) Emergency Shelter Grant as
a result of the Fiscal- Year 1988 Further Continuing
Appropriations Act. signed by the Presi.dent- December 22, 1987 t.o
provide programs for the homeless, and
WHEREAS, the add .it.ional. allocation wi 1 11. increase the City's
Emergency Shelter Grant from $203,000 to $235,000;
NOW, THEREFORE, 13E IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION . OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Sect -ion 1 Sect.ion 1 of Ordinance 10349, adopted November
19, 1987, which establised the Special Revenue Fund entitled
EMERGENCY SHELTER GRANT (FY'88), is hereby amended in the
following part-i-culars:
