The City administration would like to schedule the official
groundbreaking ceremony for the Southeast Overtown/Park West
Redevelopment Project on Thursday, July 28, 1988.
Plans for the groundbreaking are being handled by the Department of
Development and P.S. Consultants, Inc. It i*s anticipated that over
250 invitations will be mailed to federal, state and local government
officials and dignitaries, the Downtown Development Authority,
representatives from the Overtown community, etc.
Since staff will need time to finalize the preparations for this
event, it is important that we gain your concurrence on the scheduled
date of July 28th.
