Re"PUNcts: Recycling
[NCLOSYRts:
Attached please find a copy of an article regarding recycling
which appeared in the April issue of Governing Magazine, f
Given the City's need to start recycling its garbage and the
need to generate revenue, I believe this program is worth {
exploring. Revenue generated from such a program, should
i
be earmarked for improvement of our neighborhood parks.

local businesses, schools and of course, the Commission could convince
residents to t}ndertake the challenge, particularly if revenue
generated by a particular neighborhood would be channeled
i specifically to that neighborhoods local park, it. Wynwood-
j Roberto Clemente Park.
Please propose a report for me on the feasibility^of implementing
such a recycling program and please this proposal as'4 discussion
item on the Commission meeting of May 12.
i
' Thank you.
