City of Miami for the purpose of taxation, �fixi�xing�
the millaae and tevyina taxes in the Downtown
veveic ment ulstrlct located within the
territorial nits c the City of Miami. Florida,
for the fiscal year peginning October 1, 1988 and
ending September 30, 1989, fixing the millage at
five tenths (0.5) miils on the dollar of the
nonexempt assessed value of all real and personal
property in said district and proving that the
said millage and the taxes levied herein shall be
in addition to the fixing of the millage and the
levying of taxes within the territorial limits of
the City of Miami, which is contained in the
General Appropriation Ordinance for the aforesaid
fiscal year as required by Section 27 of the City
Charter; providing that the fixing of the millage
and levying of taxes herein shall be in addition
to special assessments for improvements imposed by
the City Commission of the City of Miami within
the territorial limits of the City of Miami;
provided that this ordinance shall not be deemed
as repealing or amending any other ordinance
fixing millage or levying taxes for the fiscal
year beginning October i, 1988 and ending
September 30. 1989. but shall be deemed
