AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MIAMI COMPREHENSIVE
NEIGHBORHOOD PLAN AND ADDENDA (SEPTEMBER
1965) FOR PROPERTY GENERALL*Z DESCRIBED AS Tilt
BLOCK tbt7NDEi1 BY NORTHWEST 7TH AND NORTHWEST
8TA STREETS, AND NORTHWEST 3RD AND NORTHWEST
4TR AVENUES (MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED
HEREIN). BY CHANGING THE DESIGNATION OF THE
SUBJtCT PROPERTY FROM MODERATE HIGH DENSITY
RESIDENTIAL TO GENERAL COMMERCIAL/
RESIDENTIAL; AND MAKING FINDINGS.
WHEREAS, the Miami Planning Advisory Board, at its meeting
of September 28 1988, Item No. 1, following an advertised
hearing, adopted Resolution No. PAB 74-88, by a 9 to 0 vote,
RECOMMENDING APPROVAL of this' request to amend the iami
Comprehensive Neighborhood, -Plan and Addenda (65epem "i985), as
hereinafter set forth; 4
WHEREAS the City Commission after direful consideration of
this matter d$ ms it advisablq and.." iri, the best • interest of the
general welfare'of the City of Miami and its inhabitants to grant
this Comprehensive Plan change a� hereinafter set forth; -
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Miami Comprehensive Neighborhood Plan and
Addenda (September 1985), is hereby amended by changing the
designation of that certain parcel of real property generally
described as the block bounded by Northwest 7th and 8th Streets,
between Northwest 3rd and 4th Avenues, Miami, Florida, more
particularly described as All of Block 47N, of A.L. KNOWLTON'S
MAP OF MIAMI, as recorded in Plat Book B at Page 41 of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida, from Moderate High Density
Residential to Commercial/Residential.
Section 2. It is hereby found that this Comprehensive Plan
designation change:
a. Is necessary due to changed or changing conditions;
