IN THE PROPOSED AMOUNT OF $65,300.30, BASE BID PLUS ADDITIVE ITEM "A" OF THE PROPOSAL, FOR LUMMUS PARK PLAZA - PHASE I; WITH MONIES THEREFOR ALLOCATED FROM THE 1988 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT ORDINANCE NO. 10347, PROJECT NO. 331042 IN THE AMOUNT OF $65,300.30 TO COVER THE CONTRACT COST; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH SAID FIRM. WHEREAS, sealed bids were received September 13, 1988, for Lummus Park Plaza - Phase I; and WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Director of the Department of Public Works recommend that the bid received from D. E. Gidl & Associates, Corp, be accepted as the lowest responsible and responsive bid; and WHEREAS, the 1988 Capital Improvement Ordinance No. 10347, was adopted on November 19, 1987, and monies are available for the proposed amount of the contract, project expense, and Incidentals under Project *331042 of said ordinance; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The September 13, 1988 bid of 0. E. Gidl & Associates, Corp. in the proposed amount of $65,300.30, for the project entitled Lummus Park Plaza - Phase I, for the base bid plus Additive Item "A" of the proposal based on lump sum prices, Is hereby accepted at the price stated therein. Section 2. The amount of $65,300.30 Is hereby allocated from the 1988 Capital Improvement Ordinance No. 10347, Project No. 331042 to cover the cost of said contract.
