RESOLUTION NO. —10`"i
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED WORK OF
SOLO CONSTRUCTION CORP. AT A TOTAL COST OF
$454,507.5R FOR SHENANDOAH STORM SEWER
PROJECT C I P PROJECT NO. 352.176 AND
AUTHORIZING A FINAL PAYMENT OF $9,127.09.
WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated April 30, 1987
between the City of Miami and Solo Construction Corp.; and
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed
by Solo Construction Corp. and they have furnished the required
documents certifying that all bills for labor and materials
have been paid in full in connection with the aforesaid
contract; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Director of the
Department of Public Works recommend that the completed work be
accepted and final payment made to the contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section I. The completed work performed by Solo
Construction Corp. for SHENANDOAH STORM SEWER PROJECT C.I.P.
Project No. 352176 at a total cost of $454,507.5P is hereby
approved.
Section 2. The proper officials of the City of Miami
are hereby authorized to pay $9,127.09 to Solo Construction
Corp. as full and final payment for all work performed and all
materials furnished in connection with SHENANDOAH STORM SEWER
PROJECT C.I.P. Project No. 352176.

Resolution for Final Payment
It is respectfully recommended that the City Commission adopt the
attached resolution accepting the completed work performed by Solo
Construction Corp. at a total cost of $454,507.58 for SHENANDOAH
STORM SEWER PROJECT, C.I.P. Project No. 352176 and authorizing a
final payment of $9,127.09.
BACKGROUND:
The Department of Public Works has determined that it is now in
order for the Commission to accept the completed work and
authorize final payment, after all conditions are met for
Shenandoah Storm Sewer Project C.I.P. Project No. 352176.
Solo Construction Corp. has completed the project consisting of
constructing 1427' of 24", 30" and 36" French Drain; 1760' of 3'
and 5' wide covered ditch; 1811' of 12"-24" pipe, manholes, catch
basins and pavement restoration in area bounded by S.W. 8-21
Streets between S.W. 12-19 Avenues.
The total payment to the contractor will be less than the original
contract amount of $507,580.00 because not all of the Proposal
Items were used.
