RESOLUTION NO. 89-14
A RESOLUTION CONCERNING THE 1989 COCONUT GROVE
ART FESTIVAL TO BE HELD IN PEACOCK PARR AND
MEYERS PARR AND IN THE VICINITY OF SAID PARKS
BY AMENDING SECTIONS 1, 3 AND 4 OF RESOLUTION
NO. 88-1117, ADOPTED NOVEMBER 17, 1988, TO
CORRECT A SCRIVENER'S ERROR IN THE BODY OF
SAID RESOLUTION NO. 88-1117 TO REFLECT THE
_ DATE OF SAID FESTIVAL AND STREET CLOSURES AS
FEBRUARY 18 THROUGH 20, 1989.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. Resolution 88-1117, adopted November 17, 1988,
is hereby amended in the following particulars:.L/
"Section 1. In order to effectuate safe passage
and establish a temporary pedestrian mall during the
1989 Coconut Grove Art Festival to be conducted by the
Coconut Grove Association, the following streets are
hereby closed to through vehicular traffic from
Midnight on Pebruary 1?, 1989 12:01 A.M. on Saturday.
February 18. 1989 through 8:00 P.M. on Monday.
February 17% 2,Q, 1989:
South Bayshore Drive from Charthouse Drive to McFarlane
Road.
McFarlane Road from South Bayshore Drive to Grand
Avenue.
Included in the herein closure are all streets,
avenues, alleys, ways and thoroughfares which intersect
the enumerated areas delineated in this Section.
Section 3. Pursuant to the provisions of City
Code Section 39-13, all retail peddlers occupational
licenses issued under the provisions of Chapter.31 of
the City Code, as amended, will not be valid on
February +-7, 18, aitd 19 and 20, 1989, during the hours
of the event on said closed streets, and on all
intersecting streets for two blocks in all directions.

Underscored words and/or figures shall be added. The
remaining provisions are now in effect and remain unchanged.

Section 4, upon. the issuance of a temporary
Permit by the Florida Department of Business
Regulation, Division of Alcoholic Beverages and
Tobacco, to sell beer and wine, and pursuant to the
City Code, the request of the organizers to sell beer
and wine for a three-day period in connection with the
Coconut Grove Arts Festival on February +91, 18, ennd 19,
Md-20, 1989 is hereby granted in compliance with
Ordinance 9777, further subject to the issuance of all
permits required by law.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective;''n�.;
