A RESOLUTION CONCERNING A BENEFIT CONCERT FOR s A WOMEN IS PLACE SHELTER TO BE CONDUCTED BY THE PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA OF FLORIDA AT BAYFRONT PARK AMPHITHEATER, HEREBY DESIGNATING MAY 13, 1989, AS ONE OF THE THIRTY (30) DAYS RESERVED FOR USE BY THE CITY PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE NO. 10348; FURTHER DIRECTING THE ORGANIZERS TO POST A BOND TO COVER THE COST OF SOLID WASTE FEES AND SERVICES FOR THE EVENT; FURTHER CONDITIONED UPON ORGANIZERS PAYING FOR THE NECESSARY COSTS OF CITY SERVICES ASSOCIATED WITH SAID EVENT AND THE REQUIREMENT THAT THE CITY WILL BE INSURED AGAINST ANY POTENTIAL LIABILITY. WHEREAS, the Philharmonic Orchestra of Florida will conduct a benefit concert for a Women's Place Shelter on Saturday, May 13, 1989; and WHEREAS, the City Commission by Motion No. 88-806, dated September 8, 1988, designated that this event '1/ should be counted as one of the thirty (30) days reserved for use by the City for the use of Bayfront Park Amphitheater pursuant to law; and WHEREAS, the organizers must post a bond to cover the cost of solid waste fees and services for the event;: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY z OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: += Section 1. Saturday, May 13, 1989 is hereby designated as one of the thirty days reserved for use by the City pursuant ' to Ordinance No. 10348, in connection with a benefit concert for a Women's Place Shelter to be conducted by the Philharmonic Orchestra at Bayfront Park Amphitheater. Section 3. Such authorizations are hereby conditioned upon the organizers paying for all costs of City services associated with said event and the requirement that the City be insured against any potential liability. This event, which was originally scheduled for September 30, ` 1988 has been changed to May 13, 1989.
