HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-89-0104'Mjl M1 A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION EXPRESSING THE COMMISSION'S DESIRE THAT THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE MIAMI RIVER COORDINATING COMMITTEE BE ENLARGED SO THAT THE NUMBER OF CITY OF MIAMI APPOINTEES TO SAID COMMITTEE MAY BE INCREASED; FURTHER URGING THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF METROPOLITAN DADE COUNTY TO AGREE TO THIS REQUEST AND URGING THAT THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF FLORIDA SUPPORT THE SAME. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF FLORIDA: Section 1. It is the desire of the Miami City Commission that the membership of the Miami River Coordinating Committee be enlarged so that the number of City of Miami appointees to said Committee may be increased. - Section 2. The Board of Commissioners of Metropolitan - Dade County is hereby urged to agree to this request and Florida Governor Bob Martinez is hereby urged to support the same. Section 2.
