A RESOLUTION AMENDING SECTION 1 OF RESOLUTION 88-1117 ADOPTED NOVEMBER 17, 1988, AS AMENDED, CONCERNING THE 1989 COCONUT GROVE ART FESTIVAL TO BE HELD FEBRUARY 18, 19 AND 20, 1989 IN PEACOCK PARK, MEYERS PARK AND THE VICINITY OF SAID PARKS BY ADDING THE CLOSURE OF TWENTY- SEVENTH AVENUE FROM TIGERTAIL AVENUE TO SOUTH BAYSHORE DRIVE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, {s� 1 FLORIDA: Section 1. Resolution 88-1117, adopted November 17, 1988, as amended, is hereby amended in the following particulars s "Section 1. In order to effectuate safe passage and establish a temporary pedestrian mall during the _1989 Coconut Grove Art Festival to be conducted by the E' f Coconut Grove Association, the following streets are '- hereby closed to through vehicular traffic from 12:01 ,t A.M. on Saturday, February 18, 1989 through 8:00 P.M. on — a Monday, February 20, 1989: South Bayshore Drive from Charthouse Drive to McFarlane Road. == McFarlane Road from South Bayshore Drive to Grand Avenues Southwest Twenty -Seventh Avenue from Tigertail Avenue to �f Bayshore Drive. Included in the herein closure are all streets, avenues,' alleys, ways and thoroughfares which intersect the enumerated areas delineated in this Section. In light of the extensive construction in the Coconut Grove Exhibition area, the police have expressed their concern regarding the orderly flow of traffic If artists' and vendors' booths are placed along South Bayshore Drive east of 27th Avenue. We are, therefore, requesting the closure of SW 27th Avenue from S. Bayshore Drive to Tigertail Avenue to accommodate those artists and vendors previously assigned to the ; nd Chart H use Drive S.
