AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF
ORDINANCE NO. 10413, ADOPTED APRIL 14,
1988, INCREASING THE APPROPRIATION TO THE
SPECIAL REVENUE FUND ENTITLED "PRE-SCHOOL
PROGRAM CONSOLIDATED," BY $121,824
COMPOSED OF $111,000 FROM PROGRAM
PARTICIPATION FEES AND $10,824 FROM
DESIGNATED FOOD REIMBURSEMENTS FROM THE
UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE;
CONTAINING A REPEALER PROVISION AND A
SEVERABILITY CLAUSE.
WHEREAS, the City Commissio dopted Ordinance No. 10413 on
April 4, 1988, appro iat ng $301612 to a Special Reve ue Fund
entitled: "Pre cho rog m Consolidated" Pr je t 023) to
cover actuyaan� n cipated ex diture o� f seal year 198788; and
WHEREAe Department P r s, Recreation, and Public
Facilities anticipates collecting $121,824 in revenues,
consisting of $111,000 in program participation fees and $10,824
in USDA Food Reimbursements to support the operation of the
a
City's Pre -School Program during fiscal year 1989; and
f WHEREAS, the carryover fund balance from prior year projects
as of September 30, 1988 was $8,682; and
WHEREAS, to bring the total appropriation to the September
30, 1989 projected total of $472,436, the existing appropriation
` needs to be increased by $121,824 (350,612 + 121,824); and
�.' WHEREAS, current staffing allows up to ninety (90) children
�f} to be served at the three (3) Pre -School centers; and

WHEREAS, the Department of Parks, Recreation, and -Public
Facilities requires this additional appropriation to.. cover,
anticipated expenditures;
