HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-89-0261z I , A 3-89-270 3/03/89 RESOLUTION NO. 8900`261 A RESOLUTION ALLOCATING AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $2,500 FROM SPECIAL PROGRAMS AND ACCOUNTSe CONTINGENT FUNb, TO COVER THE COST OF THE RENTAL FEE OF THE MIAMI MARINE STADIUM FOR THE "LATIN MEETS JAZZ BY THE BAY" CONCERT TO BE PRESENTED ON JULY 2, 1989 AT SAID STADIUM BY THE PRODUCTION CENTER FOR THE ARTS, INC*,- SUBJECT TO AND CONTINGENT UPON SUCH CONDITIONS AND LIMITATIONS AS MAY BE PRESCRIBED BY THE CITY OF MIAMI, INCLUDING THE RECEIPT OF PAYMENT FOR ALL CITY SERVICES AND FEES REQUIRED FOR SAID EVENT AND THE CONDITION THAT SAID SPONSOR SHALL REIMBURSE CITY IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,500 IF RECEIPTS FROM SAID EVENT EXCEED $20,000; FURTHER PROVIDING THAT NO CITY FUNDS BE EXPENDED UNLESS AND UNTIL SAID SPONSOR AGREES THAT THE CITY COMMISSION SHALL APPROVE IN ADVANCE ANY EXPENDITURE OF PROFITS FROM SAID EVENT AND THAT THE CITY COMMISSION SHALL BE ALLOWED TO CONDUCT A POST -EVENT AUDIT; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE NECESSARY AGREEMENT(S)f IN A FORM ACCEPTABLE TO THE CITY ATTORNEY, BETWEEN THE CITY AND SAID SPONSOR TO IMPLEMENT SAID GRANT.
