RESOLUTION NO. R9-238
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE DONATION OF ONE
HUNDRED AND FOUR (104) B-21 MICROCOMPUTERS
FROM THE UNYSIS CORPORATION, AS PER THE
ATTACHED LIST; FURTHER, DECLARING THE SAID
MICROCOMPUTERS AS CATEGORY "A" SURPLUS STOCK
AND DONATING THE SAME AFTER THE EXECUTION OF
THE APPROPRIATE RELEASE DOCUMENTS TO VARIOUS
NONPROFIT GROUPS TO BE SELECTED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, Resolution Number 88-633 authorized the Department
of Computers to trade in B-21 microcomputers towards the
purchase of B-25 microcomputers; and
WHEREAS; one hundred and four (104) of the traded -in B-21
microcomputers have been offered by the Unysis Corporation as a
donation to the City of Miami for distribution to nonprofit

groups; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission wishes to distribute to
selected nonprofit groups the B-21 microcomputers donated by the
Unysis Corporation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY

OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The donation of one hundred and four (104) B-
21 microcomputers from the Unysis Corporation, as per the
attached list, is hereby accepted by the City of Miami.

Section 2. The one hundred and four (104) microcomputers`
donated by .the Unysis Corporation are hereby declared Category-�

"A" surplus stock and donated to various nonprofit groups to

BACKGROUND. -
Resolution 88-633 authorized the Department of Computers to trade
in' B-21 microcomputers towards the purchase of B-25
microcomputers.
