WHEREAS, the City of Miami Commission is committed to the econamic development and the expansion of Trade and Commerce in the City of Miami; and WHEREAS, the City Canmission passed Resolution No. 87-923 authorizing the establishment of Small Business Development Pilot Program in Model City; 0 WHEREAS, Delphine Murray, owner of D. & D. Coin Laundry has defaulted on her Promissory Agreement with the City of Miami; and WHEREAS, the aforementioned loan recipient has received $10,000 from the Small Business Development Pilot Program; and WHEREAS, the loan recipient is now 120 days past due on her loan with the City of Miami; +t NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MUM, FLORIDA: Section 1. The City Manager is her_ authorized to instruct the City Attorney to initiate appropriate legal proceedings and civil action against Delphine Murray, d/b/a D. & D. Coin Laundry to recover loan funds in the amount of $10,000 to said individual through the Model City Small Business Development Pilot Loan Program. YZI Section 2.
